place to make our salon a peaceful and safe environment for our clientele and staff
of Conquerors. Please frequent this page as policies are subject to change due to

BOOKING:Booking opens every third Thursday of the current month at 5:30 PM EST for the upcoming month. For example, August 2023 booking will on 07/20/23 at 5:30 PM EST. We highly advise subscribing to our website for helpful booking tips when the monthly newsletter is released. Clients must only book an appointment for themself or their legal minor. Clients are not prohibited to book on behalf of friends, family, or associates. The name of the client booked must correlate with the name of the client who arrives to be serviced. Appointments for Add on services must be booked under the same stylist that the main service is booked under. Appointments must be booked via our website: TheCurlConqueror.com or via Vagaro: Vagaro.com/TheCurlConqueror. Be sure to book all desired services. Services are unable to be added on at the time of your appointment. If you are unsure of what services you need based upon the service descriptions, booking a curly consultation prior to your appointment is recommended. Deposits: A 50% Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable deposit must be paid via Vagaro to receive a confirmation for your appointment(s). Failure to pay your deposit(s) when booking will result in a forfeit/ cancellation of your appointment(s). All appointments are non-refundable, non-transferable, and are not eligible for appointment alterations. This means the appointment(s) can not be rescheduled or applied to another appointment date and can not be given to another client as an appointment credit or time slot. All clients must complete the COVID-19 Consent Form. New clients must complete a Client Intake Form after they have booked their appointment(s).

ADD ON SERVICES:Add on services are not to be booked alone. They must be booked along with a curly service, straight service, or package. The only add on service that can be booked without an additional service is a Hydration Treatment. If an add-on service ( Except for a hydration treatment) is booked without an additional service, the appointment will be deleted and your deposit will not be refunded nor will it be transferred to a future appointment or to another guest. All Add on services must be booked by the same stylist that the main service is booked under.

COLOR:The Integrity of your hair is our #1 priority. To be booked hair color services, clients must first schedule a curly consultation at least 48 hours in advance. Scheduling a consultation color consultation will allow the stylist to determine if your hair is suitable to receive color and gain an understanding of the desired color outcome for the client. Please note, an additional consultation may be required if our salon has not had an opportunity to evaluate the current condition of your hair in 30+ days. If/When the client's hair is determined "Ready" to receive hair color, the stylist will prebook the client for the upcoming month or during the current month if there is an available opening. Please note, this is not a client bookable service. This service must be booked by a stylist in our salon on your behalf. Pricing for hair color services will be determined during the consultation.

CANCELLATION POLICY:To avoid an additional $50 charge, please cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance via Vagaro. Please note, all deposits including cancellations are non-refundable and non-transferable (To another person or appointment date). Canceling 24 hours in advance, will prevent you from having to pay the same day additional $50 cancellation fee mentioned above and forfeit of appointment(s). If an appointment is booked with an add-on service, both appointments will be canceled if the client does not show up for one (No Shows) or if the client does not cancel 24 hours in advance. Should the client's card not process for the cancelation fee, an invoice will be sent via Vagaro. The client will be blocked from booking until the cancelation fee has been processed. Once an appointment has been canceled, our salon is unable to rebook the client in the same appointment slot/different appointment slot should the client change their mind. All appointments are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not eligible for appointment alterations. This means they can not be rescheduled or applied to another appointment date and can not be given to another client as an appointment credit or time slot.

LATE POLICY:We understand that unforeseen emergencies occur. However, please be courteous by calling or texting us as soon as possible. The Curl Conqueror reserves the right to cancel any appointments 15 minutes or later. A $50 cancellation fee will be charged to your account for each appointment. Should the client's card not process for the late fee, an invoice will be sent via Vagaro. The client will be blocked from booking until the cancelation fee has been processed. If an appointment is booked with an add on service, both appointments will be canceled if the client is 15 minutes or more late. Late appointments/arrivals must be rescheduled independently by the client via Vagaro for a new appointment time and date. Please note: Your 50% deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable on the day of the scheduled appointment and cannot be applied to your future appointment.​

PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT:Clients' hair must be taken down ( Free of coils, twist, matting, braids, weave, and/or previous style) and detangled prior to your arrival. If assistance is needed, clients are required to provide us with at least a 24-hour notice so that we can extend your appointment if feasible to accommodate your needs. Please note, a minimal $50.00 style takedown charge will be applied to your account.

IS A CONSULTATION REQUIRED:Consultations are designed to help you select a style if you are unsure of what style will best fit your goals and lifestyle. Consultations are also designed to answer your concerns if you are not certain if your hair meets the requirements listed in the description of services. This service is also ideal for clients who have concerns about underlying conditions. Consultations are optional but are highly recommended. Consultations are not optional for clients who desire color. Please note, consultations are not equivalent to booking a style/service. Therefore, you will not leave the salon with a style/service unless you book a style via our booking platform prior to your arrival. The price of your consultation will be deducted from your (1) future style upon checkout in the salon after the furture style has been completed. Please note, we are unable to ethcially and accurately advise you without seeing and touching your hair in person. Emailed pictures of your hair and etc. are not equivallent to an in person consulation as we will not be able to advise you based upon the current condition of your hair. Please note, an additional consultation may be required if our salon has not had an opportunity to evaluate the current condition of your hair in 30+ days for those who desire color services. ​​​​​

PROFESSIONALISM:We are unable to use outside products. We are however, able to use medicated shampoo if you present us with a correlated prescription we can keep on file provided by a doctor. Hair must be shampooed by us prior to styling your hair. Every style includes a complimentary shampoo.

PHOTOGRAPHY:We love to showcase our work so that the world can see it. Clients reserve the right to verbally deny any photography/videography while at our shop. Should you agree to have photography/ videography taken, we reserve the right to display it. We ask that you do not film, take photographs, or FaceTime while in the shop without permission from management for the protection of our clientele, our staff, and our trademarked methods.​​​​​​​

APPOINTMENTS ARE NOT EQUIVALENT TO CLASSES OR CONSULTATIONS:If you have specific questions or concerns regarding your hair or need assistance selecting a style that best suits your needs, please proceed to book a curly consultation. Consultations are done in person and can not be done by receiving a picture via email. We must see and touch your hair in person to properly and accuratley address your concerns. Although we love to teach and educate, our salon business hours are not the appropriate time to do so. If you are interested in learning our techniques and methods, please click the classes tab. Please note, we are currently only teaching the Curl Conquering Methodâ„¢ to licensed professionals.

METHODS OF ACCEPTED PAYMENT:We accept the following payment methods: Debit and Credit cards, (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) We do not accept Cash or Cash App.

CHILDREN & ADDITIONAL GUESTS:Please refrain from bringing children or additional guests to the salon unless they are being serviced. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in automatic cancelation of appointment(s). We love to service children. However, children must be able to sit peacefully and follow directions for the duration of the service. We require one guardian to stay for the duration of the service in the waiting area. We do not offer seperate/differentiating pricing for children.

GUARANTEED SATISFACTION:To ensure guaranteed satisfaction, we ask that clients verbally articulate concerns regarding their style prior to leaving the salon. We are unable to address/ rectify concerns once the client has left our salon.

IS THERE A WAIT LIST:We do not have a waitlist. However, should an opening arise due to a cancellation, we will post it on our story on Instagram. If this interests you, please turn on your story notifications for our Instagram page : @TheCurlConqueror .

OUTSIDE FOOD AND DRINKSWe provide complimentary snacks and beverages. Our clients are more than welcome to bring their own snacks if they wish. Please note, we do not have a microwave or refrigerator available to the public. We kindly ask that if a client desires to bring a snack with them to our salon, that it is free of: Peanuts, peanut butter, and/or shellfish. This helps to avoid triggering an allergy of a fellow client or member of The Curl Conqueror Team. We also ask that you do not bring alcoholic beverages or illegal substances inside of our salon.
